About Dovrane
Dovrane Inc. develops storm-restoration decision intelligence. The website describes Dovrane's beta product, methods, operating boundaries, and business opportunities.
Website content is provided for general business and informational purposes. Access to the website does not create a customer, advisory, fiduciary, partnership, employment, or other professional relationship with Dovrane Inc.
Beta product and demonstrations
The Dovrane beta is an evolving product. Features, interfaces, integrations, data requirements, availability, and performance may change as the product develops.
Modeled scenarios, demonstrations, diagrams, estimates, and example records explain functionality and methodology. They are not representations of a specific utility deployment and do not establish field, safety, regulatory, or production performance.
No operational reliance
The website and its content are not engineering, safety, dispatch, switching, clearance, grid-control, emergency-response, regulatory, legal, financial, or investment advice.
Do not use website content to make operational or safety decisions. Utilities, system operators, incident commanders, field personnel, and other authorized professionals remain solely responsible for decisions, approvals, procedures, and execution.
Permitted use
Dovrane Inc. grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to access and use the public website for lawful internal business and informational purposes, subject to these Terms.
Prohibited conduct
You may not misuse the website or assist another person in doing so. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Interfering with website operation, circumventing access controls, probing nonpublic systems, or attempting unauthorized access.
- Introducing malware, automated abuse, excessive traffic, scraping that impairs service, or content intended to compromise security.
- Impersonating another person, misrepresenting affiliation, or submitting unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or malicious material.
- Reverse engineering website software except to the limited extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Using Dovrane content, branding, or data to train a competing model or create a competing commercial product without written permission.
Information you submit
You are responsible for information submitted through the website and represent that you have the right to provide it. Do not submit utility operational data, critical-infrastructure information, credentials, export-controlled data, personal information about others without authorization, or information subject to confidentiality obligations.
Business inquiries are not treated as confidential unless Dovrane Inc. has signed a written confidentiality agreement covering the information before submission.
Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback about the website or Dovrane products, you grant Dovrane Inc. a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use and incorporate that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you as the source without permission.
Intellectual property
The website, product descriptions, software, models, methods, text, graphics, interfaces, designs, logos, trademarks, and other content are owned by Dovrane Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws.
Except for the limited access right expressly granted in these Terms, no license or ownership right is granted. Dovrane and associated names, logos, and marks may not be used without prior written permission.
Third-party services and references
The website may reference or link to third-party products, services, standards, or websites. Dovrane Inc. does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or privacy practices.
References to utilities, technologies, systems, standards, or market participants do not imply endorsement, partnership, integration, certification, or compatibility.
Website availability and changes
Dovrane Inc. may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the website at any time. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." DOVRANE INC. DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOVRANE INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE WEBSITE OR THESE TERMS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOVRANE INC.'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PUBLIC WEBSITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dovrane Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction where Dovrane Inc. is incorporated, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact [email protected] and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
General terms
If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without Dovrane Inc.'s written consent; Dovrane Inc. may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement regarding use of the public website and supersede prior statements on that subject.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to [email protected]. Notices to Dovrane Inc. must be sent through that address unless a written agreement specifies another notice method.
